Human Resources Director to lead the firm’s human capital strategy from their office in Finland.
The ideal candidate will act as an employee champion and a leader of change. You will plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's human resource function and performance.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the HR Director will be instrumental in aligning HR operations with the company’s strategic goals, while driving innovation and fostering a positive organisational culture.
Key Responsibilities of the HR Director:- Develop and implement a comprehensive human resources strategy that includes workforce planning, talent acquisition, and employee retention.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and sector-specific guidelines, ensuring ethical and legal operations.
- Lead change management initiatives and drive cultural transformation to align with corporate values.
- Manage performance management systems, compensation frameworks, and training and development programs.
- Enhance HR processes through technology, leveraging data for informed decision-making.
- Advocate diversity, equity, and inclusion across the workforce.
- Provide overall leadership and guidance by overseeing talent acquisition, employee career development, succession planning, retention programs, training and leadership development
- Function as a strategic, human capital business advisor to the senior management team
- Develop initiatives, policies and programs to complement existing practices and create consistency across the organization
- Oversee benefit and compensation plans to ensure cost efficiencies and attractiveness to retain top talent
The HR Director will meet the following experience:- Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field.
- HR qualifications
- Minimum 15 years’ HR leadership experience, preferably within industrial sectors and from stock listed company.
- Proven expertise in talent acquisition, workforce planning, and organisational development.
- Prides themselves as being an action orientated individual who makes things happen
- Someone who can innovate change
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Finnish and English
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
